Hello, I’m Dave 🙂

I’m passionate about supporting the wellbeing of education staff, particularly those working in safeguarding and pastoral roles.

With over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people, I’ve spent the last decade specialising in mental health, safeguarding and pastoral support across the NHS, schools and third-sector organisations.

I’m a qualified Clinical Supervisor, Mental Health Practitioner and JNC-qualified Youth Worker.

I provide both individual and group supervision, creating a confidential, reflective space where staff can pause, think and process the emotional demands of their role. My approach is warm, supportive and non-judgemental, and as an external supervisor I offer the independence that allows people to speak openly about the challenges they face.

Those I work with consistently tell me how valuable it is to have dedicated time to reflect in the fast-paced world of safeguarding and pastoral work. Supervision helps build resilience, supports confident decision-making and enables staff to continue providing the best possible care for the children and young people who rely on them.
