Susie Lanyado

I offer supervision to school-based practitioners, teachers, counsellors, wellbeing leads, DSLs and those early in their careers working with children, young people and families in educational and community settings.

With 30 years of experience spanning education, health and the voluntary sector, I bring deep knowledge of whole-school approaches, intervention models, safeguarding, and working with young people and families at greatest risk — particularly those from minoritised backgrounds navigating systemic disadvantage.

My supervision draws on therapeutic line management, CSTD-qualified clinical supervision (Core & Therapeutic), and current practice leading a Mental Health Support Team service within the NHS England and DfE MHST initiative. I integrate solution focussed reflective practice and systemic approaches throughout.

I deliver 1:1, group and team supervision, drawing on extensive experience leading complex, multidisciplinary teams across schools and the voluntary sector — offering a reflective, grounded space that keeps the young person always at the centre.
