I am a qualified supervisor and arts psychotherapist working predominantly in schools with children/young people, families, teaching staff and school counsellors/therapists. I worked in Education settings for over twenty years before retraining as a Dramatherapist and supervisor.

I believe that teaching, like clinical work is complex and demanding. It needs a third eye.

I have regular supervision (HCPC requirement) and know that good supervision provides psychological safety which aids honesty. Supervision supports professional development, ensures individual care and allows time for reflection.

My background is unique in that I provide a teacher’s and a therapist’s lens to supervision, offering flexibility and collaboration whilst recognising that no single method fits everyone. I celebrate staff as the experts they are, valuing knowledge gained both in school and beyond it, championing real opportunities to grow professionally and personally.

With experience in psychotherapy and family therapy, I bring a relational understanding to school based supervision. Staff receive a calm, reflective space to process the emotional weight of the work, with clinical insight that strengthens safeguarding, pastoral care and staff well-being.
