Shashi Knott

Shashi Knott is an  English teacher and former Deputy Head of Sixth Form with 18 years of experience in state secondary education and SEND outreach teaching across North London.

Following the completion of an MSc in Education, Power, and Change, she transitioned from full-time classroom teaching to focus on supporting system-wide improvement across education. Alongside her outreach teaching, she is an Associate Trainer with KCA Training, where she supports school staff to develop trauma-informed approaches that foster resilience and improve outcomes for young people. She also works as a consultant with Education Causeway. 

Shashi is currently working towards her Diploma in Supervision in Education. She is particularly interested in supporting new and trainee teachers to manage discussions around contested areas of the curriculum.

 She is also a Governor at a local Secondary School.
